Bournemouth Frontrunners is an inclusive LGBTQ+ running and walking club for Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding area. We welcome all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced runners, and allies are always welcome 🌈
Our club is about more than just running. We focus on:

Having fun, building confidence and supporting each other
🏃♂️ Runs & Walks
We currently offer regular runs and walks on set days, with sessions taking place on Thursdays and Saturdays. All sessions are social, supportive and no-pressure, and nobody is left behind.

As the club continues to grow, we plan to expand our schedule during 2026, offering more opportunities to get involved.
🎉 Social Events & Community
Alongside our runs, we host regular social events such as quizzes, bingo, karaoke and other get-togethers. These events help strengthen our community and also fund the club.
We work closely with local community groups, LGBTQ+ organisations and welcoming venues, helping to build strong community links across the area.

Membership is completely free. The club is funded through fundraising and social events, helping keep everything accessible.

Meeting Times/Locations
Bournemouth Frontrunners — Run and Walk Times
Thursday evenings
Walking group meets at 6:00 pm
Running group sets off at 6:30 pm
Route: Bournemouth Pier to Boscombe Pier and back (approx. 5 km)
Saturday mornings
We meet at local Parkruns which all start at 9:00 am. Our members regularly join:
• Poole Parkrun
• Bournemouth Parkrun
• Moors Valley Parkrun
• Upton House Parkrun
These Parkruns give us a chance to connect with the wider community, run or walk at our own pace, and still support each other as part of Bournemouth Frontrunners
