Thank you for your interest in starting a Front Runner club.
There are currently about a hundred Front Runner clubs in several countries around the world. But there are no clubs in several parts of the world and we're under-represented in many others. One of the goals set out in the International Front Runners mission statement and constitution is to "support the formation activities of Front Runner clubs." So we hope you will find this information useful as you consider what steps you'll take in organizing your club.
Frontrunners Boston has been printing and distributing the New Club Startup Packet since 1989 as a service to help new Front Runner clubs organize by providing guidance, sample bylaws, example promotional material and club literature, and promoting new club participation in events and meetings with other Front Runners clubs around the world. The distribution of the start-up packet on CD-ROM is fairly new and is still a work in progress.
On this CD, you'll find some suggestions and things to consider when starting a Front Runner club. You'll also find some several club bylaws, club advertising and membership materials and other club literature. There is also information on International Front Runners and some of the support that IFR can provide. Most of the areas can be gotten to by clicking on the different subjects in the left-hand navigation bar.
