We have had a small but active group since November 1994. Several of our members do long races, including the two well-know relays in Nova Scotia, The Cabot Trail Relay and the Rumrunners' Relay. We submit a relay team to the Bluenose Marathon in Halifax, and some members run the marathon individually. We have periodic potluck dinners, which attract members and "camp followers." Our walking group has been active since 2000. We welcome visitors. We meet for coffee and snacks after the Saturday morning run.
Saturdays: runners at 9:30am, walkers at 9:00am, beginning from the main gate of Halifax Public Gardens, corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street. Distance: 7kms. After-run gathering at HumaniT, South Park Street.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:00pm, beginning from the main gate of the Halifax Public Gardens, corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street. Distance: 8-10 kms (with options for shorter and longer runs, depending on the day and the group).
